So obviously, this is a career that is really motivating and the finantial incentive is also great, but does that automatically make you a good HR Manager?
The answer is no.

Leave your office
You know what is really scary?
Getting a call telling you to go to the HR Office. Nobody wants that call.
It is incredibly similar to getting a call from the principals office when you were a kid, you just hate it!
What is much easier and comforting for employees, is having you come to where they work and having a conversation there. Being on their own turf will put their mind to ease and you will be able to do some real work. They will appreaciate the human contact.
Be a great communicator
If you are a loyal reader of our blog, you probably noticed that we say this one a lot. Why is that?
It is because there is simply no way around this.
